Clearing Recent Documents Automatically While Exitting In Windows XP

  1. Open Registry Editor by typing Regedit in StartMenu/Run.
  2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Policies/Explorer.
  3. Make new DWORD named ClearRecentDocsOnExit.
  4.  Set its value to 1.
  5. Refresh by pressing F5.
